I am planning to buy a home for the first time and wanted to know if there is way to find desperate sellers so I can get a good deal

    That is the golden question that everyone in real estate would like to know the answer to! Keep an eye in the classified ads and look for "for sale by owner" houses. sometimes you can get lucky.
